At Building the Life You Want LLC, we take the expatriation and repatriation processes very seriously. Our services include pre-selection workshops, assignee and partner coaching, as well as repatriation support. We customize our programs according to our customers’ and clients’ needs to best accompany them in successfully managing change and reaching their goals.
Doris Fuellgrabe, owner and head coach of Building the Life You Want LLC, was born and raised in Germany, where she completed a three-year dual apprenticeship program to become a Foreign Language Secretary with one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies in 1997.
Her subsequent international experience includes four years of study in Stirling, Scotland; six months of administrative work in London, England; four years of executive assistance to the CEOs of multinational companies in the financial services and IT sector in Barcelona, Spain; two years of further study and personal development (one in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, one as accompanying spouse without work-permit in Aguascalientes, Mexico), before arriving in Dallas Texas, USA, in 2007, where she currently lives with her Spanish husband.
Ms Fuellgrabe holds a BA in Human Resources Management with Spanish from Stirling University in Scotland (2001). Since obtaining her Personal Coach diploma from a German educational institute, she has incorporated her own coaching practice Building the Life You Want LLC in August 2008. She is available to provide her services in person, over the phone, and online in German, English, and Spanish.
Doris currently serves as VP of Membership for the Preston Persuaders Toastmasters Club #5569 and is VP of Education elect for the upcoming term. She is a member of the Young Executives Club of the German-American Chamber of Commerce in Dallas and spoke at the 2009 Families in Global Transition (FIGT) conference. She publishes weekly articles about a variety of topics like coaching, transition, expats, balance and happiness on this blog and you can also follow her on Twitter.
